About the Band
Deadbird is a doom punk band from Arkansas formed circa 2002 in the Ozark Mountains of North West Arkansas. The feeling in the air was different there and you could really connect with nature, even if you were in the city. The mountains and the sky and the trees influenced us as much as all the bands we obviously love, also alcohol and drugs were major creative motivators back then. We're pretty damn well sober now and super excited about this fest. We've never ever experienced anything like it before or since and are so grateful that it's back!
