About the Band
Bongzilla are Madison, Wisconsin’s long-running high priests of weed-worshipping sludge. Active since the mid-90s, they fuse blown-out doom, crusty punk energy, and endless clouds of smoke into slow-motion riffs that feel like they were carved out of resin-caked speaker cones.
From cult records like Stash, Gateway, and Weedsconsin to their recent full-length Dab City, the band has become a cornerstone of stoner metal — touring hard, pushing their sound heavier and hazier, and turning every stage into a hotboxed riff chamber. At Emissions, Bongzilla are coming to turn Westside Bowl into their own personal grow room.
